A Letter from
our president
Howdy!

My name is Anna Mathena, and I am honored to serve as this year’s President of the Alpha Phi Chapter of Phi Sigma Rho here at Texas A&M University. Since I rushed, I knew Phi Rho would be my home away from home for the next four years thanks to the strong sisterhood this organization creates. Phi Rho was the place for me because I wanted to be surrounded by women that I could grow with, look up to, and be inspired by. With our diverse membership, it is almost impossible not to find a second family here. Our Chapter Motto, “Fortune Favors the Bold,” perfectly exemplifies the strong, empowering women of the Alpha Phi Chapter. In this sisterhood, you will find friendship, scholarship, and encouragement to be at the heart of each of our activities and members. I hope as you browse this website you find a little insight into who we are as the Alpha Phi Chapter at Texas A&M, and I can’t wait to meet our future Lambda class!
phi rho love,
Anna Mathena
