PNM Recruitment tips 

 PNM: Potential New Member                      Active: Current Member

1. BE YOURSELF!!

This entire process is to find your girl gang, people you mesh with and want to hang out with. The very best way to do that is to just be yourself through the entire process.

2. DON’T BE SCARED!!

Recruitment should be fun, all of the active members want to be there and want to know you, so don’t be nervous!!

3. CHILL WITH US!!

The purpose of recruitment events is just to get to know and vibe with each other. 

 

4. ASK QUESTIONS!!

About Phi Sigma Rho and the actives. You are trying to figure out if this is an organization you want to join, so ask questions about it and the girls who are in it. (See below)

5. BEING SOCIAL CAN BE SCARY!!

We are well aware of this, we are all thinking the same things, so rest in knowing we are socially exhausted together.

6. COME TO AS MUCH AS YOU CAN!!

You are not required to go to any of the recruitment events in order to apply but the more you attend and the more girls you meet the better!!

  • What’s your fav show/ what are you currently watching on netflix?

  • What made you go phi rho?

  • What did you do this summer?

  • What classes are you taking? 

  • What other orgs are you in?

  • What’s your typical day like?

  • What do you hope to achieve in college and after college?

  • What do you wish you knew about Phi Sigma Rho when you went through recruitment? 

  • What is the time commitment? 

  • When are meetings? 

  • How much focus is there on academics?

  • Does Phi Rho do big/littles? And what are they?

  • What makes Phi Rho unique?

  • Is it expensive to be a member?

  • Are there any professional development opportunities?
